IINÁ Physical Therapy would like to acknowledge the exciting month of October to celebrate and bring awareness of: National Physical Therapy Month, National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and the start of a new season considered the beginning of a New Year by the Navajo People. Food & You: Physiology Food Medicine
Let’ dive into what physiology is and how it relates to bodily functions, movement, nutritional deficits and how it impacts your health such as iron deficiency, h-pylori, food allergies, hormone imbalance, protein and it’s implications on your daily life for performing the tasks that you need to do!

If you are at risk for falling or would like to know how well you are with balance, this event is for you! Receive balance testing and know your fall risk. Each session is 30 minutes in length.

Roundtable Discussion: Wellness
This discussion will include topics such as (but not limited to) balancing work-life schedules, personal testimonials for health, how to stay healthy in the fall and winter months, where to pull motivation from, how to “age” well, and so forth. The participants for this roundtable discussion are well known Indigenous individuals: Corey Begay (Navajo, artist and graphic designer), Ryan Begay (Navajo, actor and film maker),
